IGI releases into production the Abanco provider portal : Abanco International, LLC will use the services offered in the ORBIT portal to connect its customers to the MedComUSA Network. Abanco will offer the service through its direct and independent sales channels, which will enable Abanco's Healthcare merchants to process all forms of payments and healthcare transactions easily and efficiently.

IGI's ORBIT Medpay receives certification from Abanco International : IGI's Medpay module of ORBIT has been certified to the Abanco Payment Gateway. The Primary focus of this certification was to verify the ability of the IGI switch to process: Credit Card services purchase, Void Purchase, Refunds, Pre-authorize, Force Capture and Void Force Capture. With the Abanco certification, ORBIT Medpay is able to leverage the power of the Internet and improve the speed and ease of payments by expediting processing and supporting multiple channels for revenue collection.

- July 27, 2005 - IGI has signed a Consulting and Software Development Services Agreement with Piscataway, NJ based Qualcare, Inc. >>

QualCare, Inc. is the largest full-service, for-profit provider-sponsored managed care organization owned and operated in the State of New Jersey. It is majority owned by 15 hospital and physician organizations. Under the agreement, IGI will provide services such as: system analysis, documentation, EDI solutions, programming, mapping etc. The initial project, expected to commence on August 15th, involves system automation of claims and enrollment/eligibility of Qualcare's core applications.

IGI's Medpay module of ORBIT has been certified by Vital as an integration system that can deliver electronic end-to-end payments between acquirers and merchants. With the Vital certification, ORBIT Medpay is able to leverage the power of the Internet and improve the speed and ease of patient/guarantor payments by expediting processing and supporting multiple channels for revenue collection.

IGI has signed a software maintenance agreement with Acc-Q-Data, Inc. to provide ongoing maintenance and consulting services for software developed to allow for direct connection interfaces to the 4 Medicare DME regions. The direct connects are for claims and remittance transactions. Acc-Q-Data, based out of Boca Raton, Florida, serves the medical community nationwide specializing in billing for O&P Groups, Diabetic Suppliers and DME Providers.

The latest version of the ORBIT portal has just been released and the most noticeable enhancement is a capability to process eligibility with the swipe of a payer card. Using a keyboard wedge device, provider offices can swipe payer cards and check eligibility without keying any data. This also offers the capability of a 'one swipe' process to handle both financial and eligibility transactions tied to new cards issued by payers containing Health Spending Account (HSA) information.

IGI's ORBIT portal eligibility switch has been certified by HDX as an integration system that can process HDX certified healthcare eligibility transactions for the HDX network of payers. The IGI ORBIT solution was recognized by McKesson as being the fastest solution to receive HDX certification through the certification process. With the HDX certification, ORBIT is able to reach all available payers within the McKesson MTS hub.
