- October 1, 2007 - IGI signs a Consulting and Software Development Services Agreement with Voicare
|
Viocare Technologies, Inc., a leader in developing tools that assess, monitor, and generate personalized feedback for managing patients’ dietary and physical activity habits has contracted with IGI to offer outsourced technology development services. The initial project that IGI will develop involves re-engineering web-based applications to create a tighter workflow and common functionary between the services. The toolsets are used to analyze diet and activities based on questionnaires and nutritional consultation visits. In addition, the two companies will partner to co-market the Viocare Wellness program and the IGI ORBIT® Portal solution to employers and healthcare organizations.

- September 26, 2007 - The 2007 National Plan Automation Group (NPAG) Conference
|
The 2007 National Plan Automation Group (NPAG) Conference being held at Chicago, Illinois from September 23 through September 26, 2007 is co-sponsored by Infotech Global Inc. (IGI). The conference themed "Breezing through EDI in the Windy City" is being hosted by the BCBS of Illinois. NPAG is a national event and is attended by senior executives from various BCBS Plans, their affiliates and partners from across the country. IGI has provided healthcare payer, provider solution vendors and other solution providers cost effect solutions for over a decade now our participation is in continuation to our effort to build and establish a leadership role in this domain.
During the conference, IGI will showcase tools, solutions and case studies of how our teams have reduced cost burdens on healthcare companies by leveraging our expertise and execution capabilities. Some of the solution case studies that will be demonstrated will include leading edge implementations for new and emerging concepts in the healthcare domain. IGI will also showcase its software engineering and development capabilities including how clients have engaged our agile teams to offer cost efficient solutions to their customers.
This event will be attended by key members of IGI’s healthcare and software solutions practice.

- May 14, 2007 - IGI Co-Sponsors 16th Annual WEDI National Conference

Baltimore, MD (May 2007): Infotech Global Inc. (IGI) is a co-sponsor for the 2007 16th Annual WEDI National Conference held from May 14th to May 17th at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland. This year, industry experts will provide key information and case studies on current issues in the healthcare industry. Topics will include HIPAA Implementation, including Transactions, NPI, Attachments, Privacy and Security; Interoperability issues; Health ID Card; EHRs; and RHIOs.
The conference will kick off with a pre-conference event entitled "Mastering Healthcare Identifiers: Provider, Patient and Plan Identifiers for HIPAA and Beyond". The conference also includes a special post-conference workshop entitled "How CORE Certification Is Changing Eligibility Transactions".
In keeping with the theme of the conference IGI is featuring its ORBIT® solutions framework aimed at Commercial, National, Regional and State Payers. The ORBIT® framework consists of many customizable modules for Payer-Partner connectivity; these can be retrofitted to meet specific client requirements. IGI will also feature case studies of several projects that it has undertaken and successfully delivered for healthcare companies.
